How the penalty works
The schedule penalty is a feature that allows points to be deducted directly from the final score of a survey or inspection when it is started late.
How to configure
This configuration is individual for each checklist. To activate it, go to the Registration Data tab on the checklist configuration screen, expand the Penalties tab, and enable the Overdue schedule penalty option.

Deduction rules and examples
You can configure the deduction based on the days of delay for the start of the schedule. It is possible to create rules to apply progressive deductions.
Practical example:
We can define that, with 1 day of delay, the user will lose 10 points on the final score. On the other hand, with 2 days of delay, the deduction will be 20 points. Each condition must be registered as a distinct rule.

Attention: The penalty is not cumulative. The system considers only the deduction of the last rule triggered by the delay period.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. If I have 15 days of delay, but only have a rule for 1 day, what happens?
The deduction from the 1-day rule will be applied (e.g., 10 points), as it was the available triggered rule. The system does not multiply the deduction by the exceeding days.
2. Do the deductions add up?
No. The penalty is not cumulative. Only the value of the last valid rule reached by the delay is considered.
